I never said it was destructive, just that he didn't like doing magic like that. He seemed to me to be the type who likes pretty magic more than... effective magic.

Uh, maybe. He blew him back a bit but then even true defensive magic can be harmful i.e. defensive box shield with no air holes.

What a serious comic...and yes, Zedwig is going crazy, but who can blame him? Especially with the way Fang is acting, all cool and calm as if nothing is wrong...as if this is a minor setback in how Zed is reacting; what a way to get a mage's nerves all riled up, realizing that he has no effect on how his master is using him, and will keep on using him, until the job is 'done'-which will, in fact, be 'never'.

*sigh* Insane Zedwig is the cutest thing ever...
No, seriously...the way he was drawn especially in the second to last and fourth panels really show that the poor guy's been cracked.
Very powerful comic, in me opinion.

I love Fang's expression in the 3rd panel. You can tell he genuinely doesn't believe what he just heard.

Zedwig is right. He said that this is the last time but I bet that the next time his people rebel against him, he will force his mage to kill again. It's better to end it now before the elven become just a thing that we talk in the old tales.
