#440 – Upon waking
*twitch* I never thought I would say that. I always hate to see that about Legolas, and here I am drooling for some arrogant dark haired... bah. Pretty boy who looks better with short hair. And he so looks like he expects to die. v.v
Colby, if you kill Al'bert, I might do worse to you than Bactine was threatening to do to Al'bert. k? We want everyone we can have alive at the end, your characters are too awesome to die.
And Al'bert, he's soooo pretty in the last frame!
But, yeah. Gosh. Pretty Al'bert of Awesomness! :D
xD
We really need to be able to edit our comments. Or maybe we can and I just don't know how?
And may I say that the panel with the sword dragging gives me horrible shivers up my whole spine. Gah!
Oh, I'm sure Al'bert will be fine. :3
Gotta love that last panel.
(My composure is a lie, I was squeeing for a full minute.
Well, I can dream, can't I?
If I remember correctly, he's actually an incredibly good swordsman - wasn't Kelneth pretty impressed that Sangwine beat him? So, he should have no trouble beating a few clumsy human guards. Right?
Seriously awesome page!
hee hee... whos is the guy now?
You lose the moment you think yourself a loser.
I know, it's emotions and everything, but... Strategy!
Hide behind that arc behind you. The way the'y barging about the place, they probably
wouldn't be too careful coming out. You could get one or two of them using the element of surprise. The others would be crowded in the archway, so they wouldn't be able to attack all at once.
I know it's too late now, but you can still benefit from the latter.
Unless, of course, there's something I'm not seeing in this room that could help him - say, a chandelier he could drop. I don't think that blackboard would cut it though.
Oh, oh! He should've drawn something perplexing on the blackboard AND hidden in the archway!
That could also give a few minutes :)
Ok, I realize I'm not giving very constructive advice, since it's too late to do those things...
What else could be done now?
C'mon Al'bert! You can do it! Just don't give in to despair.
I disagree! Whenever I am out of practice in multiplayer action-games, I do when I play to survive instead of playing to win (Fencing (with foil), Subspace, and SSBM). Playing to survive let's your beginner's luck last for a very long time; playing to beat the other player relies both on your skill and the other player's skill (so playing to survive increases your enemy's risk-factor). Just as importantly - Al'bert is fighting for time; not for victory. Thus his epic pose to make the guards hesitate is just as important than killing them (and I do hope that he is not a bloodthirsty fellow).
