Really nice art on this page, especially Zedwig's expression in the third-last panel, and Fang's hand in the second-last panel, and the way you can tell a storm's coming just from the colours alone.

This scene reminds me of the belgariad for some reason. O.o The last panel is very well done. I wonder how many of the other mages are left. Wouldn't they be dying, too?

I've never read the Belgariad! That's not surprising, though, because I've read very little fantasy literature.
And yes, the other mages would be dying, except this is a flashback and none of them have died, yet. (It'll become more clear this is a flashback as the scene goes on)

I love flashback! :D Very nice job on the colors. Strange, though. If you've read very little fantasy literature, it's amazing that you're so good at writing it! It figures, though, you wouldn't have much time to read, updating twice a week with this kind of quality.

Does Zedwig have unusually rosy cheeks, or is it just the contrast with his hair that makes me think this? Anyway, great art on this page! I especially love Zedwig's expressions in the third and last panels <3

Zedwig does have a lovely, rosy complexion which I adore painting. The only person whose complexion can even compare (but not really) is Bactine.

This chapter is turning out to be my favorite. Zedwig is just lovely and the way you capture his emotions- the third panel and the last panel are particularly good.

Fang is really growing into his roll of Overlord of Darkness in this comic. It has gone from "You must understand, I am an *Overlord of Darkness* and that requires certain...ettiquite" to "Make this city kneel before me" (earring glows eerily).

Zedwig is SO pretty. Colby, I envy your art skills SO much. I'm not even as consistant as you were at the beginning! At least then most of your people looked pretty much the same from one frame to the next! I'm so hooked I've read it twice in the past two days!
