Yeah, okay, Bactine's hands up Al'bert's shirt and the expressions on their faces is kinda disconcerting.

Al'bert looks amazingly omnipotent in the second to last panel though, love that.

al'bert got me good, that's for sure. i love it that he told bactine about xylic - al'bert rocks! i bet bactine gets him to switch sides and that they end up helping sangwine from the inside, thereby counteracting james' spy value.

I like Al'bert in the sixth panal. He looks so cheerful for once. You know, of all people, I never thought Bactine would learn about Xylic from Al'bert. I thought it would be from Derf or Sanguine, or maybe even an angsty, dramatic scene with Xylic himself. I wonder when Bactine's poking Al'bert in the eye is going to come up.

also, I have to agree, the second-to-last panel has Al'bert looking quite aesthetically pleasing. That should so be on a wallpaper or something.

Al'bert can't help it. Okay, he has some MAGIC charm he can turn on and off like a light when he needs or wants it, but the rest he obviously was just born with. Because oh man, this entire page is just one big fog of Fatal Charm wafting off of him. He looks absolutely irresistible in the third panel. What am I saying, he looks absolutely irresistible in every single panel of this page. There is something about arrogant smugness in a really really pretty elf man that is also impossible to resist, evidently. Especially when combined with a slightly disheveled and injured-in-a-dungeon sort of a milieu.

Back to the fortune teller in ch. 5, Bactine will almost certainly have to heal one of the mages, possibly dying in the process (unless our wonderful author doesn't go that route, just to screw with us), so what then? Will she just be dead, will she be magically healed, what? EDGE OF SEAT, HERE!!!!!!
