Naturally I started slashing them both like mad.
heh
=D

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

I am in love with the middle panel.

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

I am simply, completely cracking for panel fifth. Al'bert's smile in it is just perfect, and oh-so-cute. It's awesome.

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

Xylic is Sangwine's friend in the truest sense of the word. He wouldn't do such things. Besides, he feels equally guilty about Bactine's capture. He probably feels he must perform some type of penance to make up for it. Being humble is part of that. The other part is, of course, rescuing Bactine.

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

Why does Xylic want to claim stupidity? If it were me I would let Sangwine take blame for Bactine's capture, then when she was rescued I would say that while Sangwine was busy punishing himself I was busy planning and executing her rescue.

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

I love the line "... then an unspecified number of elven maidens fell at my feet."

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

It looks like Fang is telling off Hope in the third panel.

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

Wow, could it be that Bactine and Al'bert will end up as...friends??? No really, I'm positive. You certainly haven't heard hundreds of times. *ahem* Which is why I must emphasize the amount of swooning that went on when I laid eyes on the fourth and fifth panel. *melt* He. Is. So. ADORABLE. (Though I'm not sure he wouldn't object to being called so...)

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

Agreed!

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

I love how Al'bert looks so serious - "That's pretty much it...What?"
And then goes to a cute smile ^_^

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

This page is epic win. XD
Sangwine: "imagine the MISERY she must be suffering right now..."
If by misery you mean the sidestitch obtained from laughing to hard!
Al'bert did that on purpose. XD I think he is still a little loyal to Fang; and therefore fancies up his tale to the point where Bactine will not know what is true and what isn't. :) Besides the fact he may have just been trying to make her laugh!

Re: #346 - Misery or joviality

*chuckle* That -shove- looked a little more violent than she perhaps intended... But it is cute that it looks like, just maybe, he was exaggerating the story just to cheer her up.

I shall just keep convincing myself that Al'bert has some nefarious plot going on, lest I start to actually like him.
