Al'bert is really quite brilliant. XD I wonder HOW he's going to make her "mad, angry, threatened and irate". Hehe. Poor Bactine.... now if it were SANGWINE (from the earlier chapters) he would have no problem making her angry! I wonder why Stump has beer? O_o

Actually, by "beer" I was being silly, after some thought my sister and I agreed that it must be some kind of explosive. (Oh wait... isn't beer somewhat explosive?)

Heck, flour is somewhat explosive. You can use it to bring down castle walls, if I remember correctly.

If flour particles are suspended in the air, they can be explosive. Kitchens aren't too dangerous for this, but mills certainly can be. Even a little spark in a grain mill can cause an explosion. And now ya know :)

He's definitely not planning on blowing up the castle, i.e. a priceless piece of historical architecture which can not be replaced, or set fire to it, or damage it in any way, shape, or form.

Well...I can't see Stump being that careful of the architecture of long-eared elf pansies, but he is loyal enough to Sanguine that it comes pretty close to the same thing.

Almost seems strange to me that Bactine has become so friendly with Al'bert, but with both of them opening up instead of just being enchanted/enchanting, I suppose that helps...ah, dwarves and elves, the endless insulting banter-still, at least they're on the same side. While Sangwine looks moodily contemplative, very natural for him, especially on the eve of battle...with his brother who killed their father...while Bactine has been captured; yes, quite understandable!
