Poor Luke. I always thought it was goofy he wrote her in as being his long-lost twin sister. It seemed like a crazy afterthought to me.

That's exactly what I was going for, yay. I wanted to tell the story of war preparations entirely from his single (kind of shell-shocked) perspective.

"Soright" is an old southern term I picked up from a book years ago, and although I never say it in real life cause it sounds weird, I make my characters say it fairly regularly because I find it quaint and vaguely amusing in an American way.

You know, I totally didn't get the Sum'melph thing! I just interpreted it as a word that elves use instead of 'someone' or 'somebody', not an actual elf's name that is rather comical. I feel kind of thick now.

Also, I love this whole page - the way you communicate what's going on with Sanguine without him uttering more than a couple of words (and also Stump being so perceptive), and him being the calm in the middle of all the flurry - the eye of the storm, so to speak. The expressions and color are very effective and just beautiful.

I love how the focus of the entire panel only says one thing the whole time, yet his facial expressions speak volumes. Very well done.

Well, Colby, you were complaining about the coloring, but I think it's awesome. I personally am thrilled we're coming up on the serious action. XP
