You did something new with the hair? It looks good, give these two kind of a silver-and-gold metallic look. The shading looks more dramatic too although I'm not sure if that's style change or just the lighting.

More Fang and Zedwig pages, please! I'm seriously curious to see how the events from the book are going to affect things.

I like the way the fifth and sixth panel sort of blend into each other, with conversation flowing freely between the two. It's an interesting effect.

i didn't even notice that it was two panels, till you said so...i had to go back and check.....i mean you could tell it was, kind of, but i did not even notice....it was done pretty well...
keep up the great storyline, oh and the art too! lol

I love this page! Zedwig looks so mournful and forlorn, really regretful. Especially in the sixth panel! Love the drama, and the hair looks amazing. I vote that Zedwig keeps a constant messy look from now on, he's just so adorable I just want to hug him.

And I think i get why Zedwig won't drink the pain medicine (looking WAY back here). He's punishing himself for not stopping Fang all that time ago.

And like everyone else, though it's driving some peoples nuts, the hair looks AWESOME. I love messy elvish hair... it's always so purty. XP

Oh, it's just seems so much more different-so vibrant! No wonder we're all commenting on the hair, the new shading/coloring has brought out the contrasts and...makes for much better angst! Their faces are framed better than before so that their expressions are just bursting or at least tempered with life-seems quite sincere even with all of the drama.

I've always thought if Fang lived in modern society he'd have been heavily medicated.

Makes me wonder how many crazed conquerors and tyrannical leaders in history just suffered from chemical imbalances.

definitely...plenty of world leaders - these guys with chemical imbalances seem more likely to rise to the top - thus there is a charismatic and magnetic aspect to the chemical imbalance that makes people want to follow.

I might offend some people by saying this, but the reason why there aren't many modern day saints, especially those that have religious visions, is because they were schizophrenics. Nowadays when someone "hears the voice of God", they are locked up!

It's not just the hair (although that's gorgeous), everything looks more vibrant; the art looks like it's taken on an extra dimension - more depth. Whatever you're doing with that new technique, keep it up! : )

Also, I agree with Celidah. Fang needs a straitjacket and a nice padded room. We always hurt the ones we love, no? Yeesh.
