My guess is that Hope change her appearance to fit more to Xylic. She can't annoy as much Xylic if she still have the "barbie" that she use on Sangwine. Personnified nightmare need to be unique for every customer.

I get the impression that Xylic is inexolerably dragged toward his destiny with Hope, while all the while Hope is standing behind the curtains going "MHUHAHAHAH!"

If I had Xylic's bangs, I wouldn't be able to see anything. Xylic doesn't seem to have any trouble though - he's an archer of all things! I guess that's why Xylic > me.
I do love how he looks with that hair in the last panel...

Hope looks older this time 'round in the comic. Maybe it's just cuz her eyes aren't so big.
She also looks a bit wiser, and not as "barbie" as we last saw her.
