However, there's also the fact that the artifact Fang wears (As far as has been said/I can tell) allows them to read each others' thoughts and possibly give them a glimpse into the others' soul. It would seem to me that when your very soul is bared to another person, man or woman, same sex or opposite, a little something like clinging onto them or hugging isn't such a big deal.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

i'm still wondering if they're, like, in a "relationship"... that looks very ... shall we say... intimate?

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

The fact that he's done this to Zedwig just makes me dislike Fang all the more. Not that making such a kind, good-natured guy kill innocent people and (indirectly) the healers who kept him alive didn't already send Fang down to the bottom of my bad list.

It reminds me of a saying: "The biggest problems in the world could have been solved when they were small."

Why does no one ever notice the terrible little brat who decides to become a villain later on? *sigh* I blame bad parenting and video games.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

Yes! Fang and Zed remind me of two cats I had about 12 years ago. Unfortunately, they got killed by a dog. Hopefully that's not foreshadowing.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

Whoa. Zedwig's eyes look similar to my cat's when she is way hyped up and see's something move, in panel 6. The only difference between them in that panel is feline-ness and elvin-ness. I have to say, I think Fang's gonna be even more mental after this. After all, in Fromage, he did put a bit of trust in Zedwig. However, despite everything, in a twisted way he really did bring this upon himself.

Al;so, although panel 6 is brilliant, the sudden realisation in panel 9 makes it my personal favourite.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

It took me a while to find words for what I was feeling:

It is wrong how much I like this page.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

This... is incredibly hot, for some reason. Zedwig's emotional transitions in the last couple of panels are crazy awesome. *applauds and throws confetti* One of the best pages in a while!

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

He kinda responsible for it. The artifact he uses to control Zedwig mix them together ( http://www.purnicellin.com/lint/2008/08/19/0819... ). I think that Fangline insanity ( http://www.purnicellin.com/lint/2007/10/16/1016... ) partly taint Zedwig. In the sixth panel, I bet that Fang face the dark side of himself that he puts in his puppet. Also, I doubt that Zedwig will survive really long, If the dark magic or the civil war don't kill him, his new insanity will.

Re: #371 - Somehow Fang always wins, even when he loses

Someone needs to split these two kids up before someone loses an eye. ... or WHAT REMAINS OF THEIR SOULS, anyway.

Anyway, I just had to post because this was the first thing I looked at after I had a nap and it gave me goosebumps. --So it was either the fact that this page was executed brilliantly (especially Zedwig panel 6), or I was still tired. I choose to believe the former, because frankly, there is more evidence to support it. BECAUSE THAT PANEL 6 ZEDWIG IS CRAZY GOOD LIKE A POP-TART.

I hope Fang realizes that he's driven Zedwig to this sort of Looney-dom.

...
