#440 – Upon waking
Also I feel really bad for Xylic. He's lost his love and his best friend.
The first panel looks like one of those portrait paintings aristocrats pay for to hang up in their halls so everyone can look at them and go ooooooooooooooooooo!! :D
Btw I love the way you do webs. Xylic looks so noble with the waterfall and everything!
Phantasmagorical.
Baby Xylic is so cute! I think we all guessed that he was Sang's aunt's son, but I'm really curious to hear how he go separated from the family. He must be significantly older than Fang and Sang or they'd have remembered him, wouldn't they?
Waiting happily for the next Xylic page.
I think most of us totally knew it. XD
??because sangwine's mother died in childbirth and the king needed her help raising the boys. she couldn't take them with her because they would have been shunned as humans and her own place might have been less secure, reducing her ability to help solidify the elven kingdom.
look here for xylic's dad's last words: http://www.purnicellin.com/lint/2005/03/31/0331...
shocking, the improvement in the art from then until now, eh?
I really like the texture on the first panel, just like a painting . . . I was thinking, though, that maybe it should be on the portrait of Xylic and his family, too?
